A
ten-member African delegation exchanged views with CZM alumni members
yesterday. The four African countries include Nigeria, Cameroon, Senegal,
and Gambia.

Lawal Maidoki, deputy secretary general, (West Africa) World Zakat and Waqf
Forum and chairman of Association of Zakat and Waqf Operators in Nigeria, was
among the delegation members who visited the country.
During the visit, the delegation will also observe CZM’s wide range of initiatives and visit several institutions, including Granada Academy, Livelihood Project, RSF Granada Academy, as well as leading organizations such as Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC, BRAC, and the Yunus Centre in the capital, Dhaka.
